The Steel Bridge team competed at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference at The Pennsylvania State University. The team had a perfect build of 22 minutes and 30 seconds with no penalties. However, during loading, with one weight to go, the leg of the bridge moved and the team was disqualified from the competition. Steel bridge took huge leaps forward in constructing the bridge, utilizing 4130 Chromoly Tubing which lightened the weight of the bridge, and incorporating an arch for the first time since the 2011-2012 season. The team ended up learning a huge amount about bridge design and fabrication which they are looking to apply to the 2015-2016 season.
