The Concrete Canoe team travelled to Drexel University this April to compete at The Mid Atlantic Regional Competition with their canoe "Einstein". A beautiful display was created for the canoe, complete with a large elaborate planets located on the inside of the canoe. The team placed first in races, however fell short this year in the overall score. The team implemented many new construction techniques, including pre-stressed concrete to help with cracking, not implementing staining, and a new hull design to help the canoe travel in a straight line in the water. The team learned a huge amount and are looking forward to the 2016-2017 season.
